ABOUT ME

I trained at Wealden Psychology Institute and am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) where I am committed and abide by their ethical framework of good practise British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy

Professional Background
My journey into counselling began when I worked within a mental health service. It became evident that everyday struggles were heavily impacted by past and present experiences, making life feel impossible for the people I worked with. It was offering time and space to allow others to talk about their difficulties which led me into wanting to become a counsellor. My training and therapy then took me on my own personal journey of discovery and healing.

As well as my own private practice I have extensive experience offering counselling support to a number of services including St Peters & St James Hospice as a bereavement counsellor, Pavilions in Brighton and Hove (now CGL) focusing on drug and alcohol misuse and working for a number of years with survivors of rape and sexual abuse (childhood and adult)
